Our Chief Executive Officer
Viswananthan Selvaratnam
Viswananthan Selvaratnam, founder and CEO of FVL Development, qualified as a lawyer in 1988 from the United Kingdom and practiced law for 7 years in Malaysia. He ventured into property development through his family company, FVL Capital Sdn Bhd, and successfully completed a pioneering mixed development, Taman Desa Pangkor on Pulau Pangkor. In 2009, he formed Fortuneview Land (M) Sdn Bhd to undertake further projects in Perak with their successful maiden project in Taman Seri Wangsa 2, Seri Manjung where over 200 units were built. Subsequently, Fortuneview Land has rapidly expanded its track record and built a solid reputation in Perak state, with continued focus on developing turnkey projects, especially affordable medium cost housing in the districts of Seri Manjung and Bagan Serai. To date, FVL Development has delivered over 700 housing units with a further 1000 housing units in the pipeline over the next 5 years.
Shashikumar
Shashikumar joined FVL Development in 2016 as Head of Finance & Human Resource. He holds an MBA, Bachelor of Psychology, and Bachelor of Accounting. Prior to this, in 2007 he served as Head of Finance & Administration at Dura Technology Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of a Bursa Malaysia-listed company. Shashikumar previously has a background in the hospitality industry where he served as Assistant Manager, Resort Operations at Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Resort Bhd and Accounts Executive at Bukit Kiara Resort Bhd.

Coreen Shanmugam
Coreen Shanmugam is Head of Sales at FVL Development. She has over 20 years of working experience in various industries and a strong background in Corporate Management and Law. She graduated with a Degree in Law (Hons) from the University of London and soon after, received her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board, Malaysia. In 1998, Coreen was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor. Coreen completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Victoria University.
Vincent Dass
Vincent Dass joined FVL Development in 2014 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Previously he served from 2005 as a Project Engineer with YNH Construction Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of a Bursa-listed company. Some of the notable projects that he was involved in included the construction of AEON Mall and Pantai Hospital, both in Seri Manjung.
